Child-first approach to therapy
Parents are partners in progress
At Elevate Autism ABA Center, we believe every child with Autism Spectrum Disorder deserves access to high-quality, individualized therapy that helps them grow, learn, and thrive.
Our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and support staff work together to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each child's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
Based in Northern Virginia, we proudly serve families across Fairfax, Tysons Corner, the Mosaic District, Falls Church, Vienna, McLean, Arlington, and the greater DMV area with both home-based and center-based ABA therapy programs.
Every child deserves a team that believes in their potential as fiercely as their family does.
Elevate Autism ABA Center was founded on a simple but powerful belief: families in Northern Virginia deserve ABA therapy that is clinically excellent, deeply personal, and radically accessible.
We started Elevate because we saw too many families navigating the same painful journey — a diagnosis, months on a waitlist, confusing insurance paperwork, and finally a program that felt more like a production line than a partnership. Children were treated as case numbers. Parents were left out of the conversation. And the beautiful, individual progress that ABA can unlock was buried under logistics.
We knew Northern Virginia families deserved better. The Mosaic District, Tysons, Fairfax, Vienna, McLean — this community is full of engaged, informed parents who will fight for their child's future. Our job is to be a team that fights alongside them, not a vendor they have to manage.
So we built Elevate around three non-negotiables:
Home-based therapy first. Your child learns best in their natural environment — their bedroom, their kitchen, their backyard. We come to you so skills generalize to real life, not just a clinic room.
High turnover is the silent crisis of ABA. We invest in competitive pay, real mentorship, and protected supervision time so our BCBAs and RBTs build long-term relationships with your family — not 90-day stints.
Virginia law requires insurance to cover ABA therapy. Most families don't realize that. We handle Medicaid, Anthem, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, CareFirst, Tricare, and Cigna end-to-end — from verification to authorization to reauthorization — so you focus on your child.
This isn't just a business for us. It's a commitment to every family who has ever felt alone in this journey. Welcome to Elevate — where your child's potential is not a slogan, but our standard of care.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically validated approach to understanding and improving behavior. It is considered the gold standard treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder. ABA therapy uses positive reinforcement and systematic teaching strategies to help children develop communication, social skills, self-care, play skills, and reduce challenging behaviors.
We provide ABA therapy for children and adolescents ages 2-18. Early intervention (starting as young as 18 months-3 years) has been shown to produce the most significant outcomes, but children of all ages can benefit from ABA therapy.
The recommended number of therapy hours varies based on your child's individual needs, as determined by the BCBA's assessment. Typically, children receive between 10-40 hours per week. Our BCBA will recommend the appropriate intensity based on your child's specific goals, age, and current skill levels.
Yes! Under Virginia Code Section 38.2-3418.17, all state-regulated insurance plans are legally required to cover ABA therapy for individuals of any age diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. We accept Medicaid (all 5 Cardinal Care MCOs), Anthem, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, CareFirst BCBS, Tricare, Humana, and Sentara. Starting July 2026, Virginia Medicaid also covers ABA for children under 5 with a provisional diagnosis. Our team handles all insurance verification and authorization for you.
A BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) holds a master's degree, national BACB certification, and a Virginia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license through the Board of Medicine. They conduct assessments, design treatment plans, and supervise all therapy. An RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is a trained paraprofessional who completes 40 hours of specialized training and passes a national competency exam. RBTs provide direct 1:1 therapy sessions under the ongoing supervision of a BCBA. Together, they form a team dedicated to your child's progress.
